Introspection (Until Further Notice)

The work Introspection (Until Further Notice) was made during residency Social Aspects at Derde Wal Nijmegen in 2020. During the residency, things took a shift due to the influence of the Covid-19 crisis and Thissen decided to make work relating to these complex times. The series aimed to visualise Julius’ relation towards  loss, absence, isolation, uncertainty, mortality and mourning in times of this global pandemic.
